About Handcrafted
Original Items
Many of our items are handcrafted by very talented artisans from all over the United States of America. Due to the nature of these items - many of these items are originals and are completed on a made to order basis especially for you. 
We are not a catalog site containing mass produced items. Delivery times will vary depending on the talented artisan.
These are not items you find in a retail outlet so please read very carefully about the approximated delivery time before you purchase!  We want you to make sure you understand our terms and have a memorable shopping experience.

 We will check with our Shipping Department to see if the item meets customs and insurance guidelines of your country.
 
All International Shipping will be billed separately for additional charges if we determine this item can be shipped to your country. Items will not be considered ordered  until we have received confirmed payment for the additional charges.

We currently accept PayPal. PayPal is the leading payment processing service on the Internet. The security level is compared to military strength encryption procedures. All personal information is treated with uppermost respect and integrity. It is our goal to put ourselves in your place - and as Internet Shoppers ourselves - we would insist that private information be kept highly confidential and only used for the purpose so intended.  We can accept your credit card, debit card, or E-Check of cash transfer through our PayPal shopping cart system.

We accept major credit cards independently of PayPal with the following restrictions.
Minimum Order is $50.00
There are no refunds or returns or calcelations.
We pay fees for processing your payment and place your order with our artisans or vendors immediately.
 
Your  personal information with regards to the use of credit cards is protected with our secure Shopping Cart.  This information will not be shared except when specifically required to do so as specified. We  may share this information with Visa© whose privacy policy is outlined  at http://www.visa.com , MasterCard© whose privacy policy is outlined  at http://www.mastercard.com , or any other credit card company that we may  so designate as an accepted payment processor in the future,  and only for the purpose so intended - to verify your account information and obtain validation and verification for the purpose so intended.
 
No Returns, No Refunds, No Cancelations on hand crafted original items. Your item is ordered from our artist the day you place your order.
For items not hand crafted and ordered from a vendor or in inventory, No Returns, No Refunds, No Cancelations if the item has been ordered and sent to our Shipping Department or pulled from stock or  ordered from our vendor. 
If you are unhappy with your purchase after you receive it, {for items not hand crafted only} we may, at the discretion of our Board of Directors, issue you a store credit with the following restrictions.
You must have a RMA# or Return Merchandise Account number to return any item.
You will be responsible for paying any return shipping cost and must return the item in the original packaging and the same method it was originally shipped and the item must include insurance.
If we make a decision to issue you an RMA#, you must return the item within 3 business days of our giving you that number in the original packaging.
We guarantee your item to be as described.
Please read our descriptions & shipping policy BEFORE you buy.
The majority of our product line is hand crafted. Because of this, once you place your order, we send it to our artisan who begins work on your item, investing her time, talent and materials. Most items are one of a kind originals. The artist deserves to be paid for this original one of a kind hand crafted item.
There are no cancelations
 on hand crafted items.
If you have any questions regarding this purchase, please take the time to read our extensive descriptions including delivery schedule and other pertinent details BEFORE you make your purchase.
 
Insurance
Insurance is not an option - it is mandatory.  Unless otherwise specifically noted, all of our prices include shipping &  insurance to the domestic USA only, please.
If an item arrives damaged, please save the packaging and paper work. The post office will ask to see the original packaging. We will assist you with the insurance claim as necessary.
Items that are not hand crafted are guaranteed by the manufacturer to be of the highest quality. Please contact us if you receive an item directly from the manufacturer and are displeased with it.
We will review their guarantee and  policy and give you further directions regarding a return or replacement.
 
 

Checks or Money Orders
Minimum Order Is $50.00
 
We also accept Checks,  Money Orders and Western Union transfers from a validated address.
 Please understand that your item may be delayed further when paying by Check of Money Order as in most instances, our bank may place a hold on the negotiable item. Your item will not be  shipped unless or until  all bank holds are released. Depending on the date, your package will then be shipped the next available shipping date after holds are released. 
 We will hold your item from stock for ten calendar days until we receive your Check or Money Order, allowing consideration for it to arrive via mail. There are also additional delays for manually processing your payment such as the fact that we pick up mail twice a week, we go to our bank twice a week and we ship twice a week. Depending on the date we receive your check or money order, this can obviously cause additional delays. We reserve the right to chare a minimum amount for the manual processing.
We also accept E-Checks via PayPal.
E-Checks via PayPal also require a hold period, regardless of the amount.


The address to send payment should be displayed when you use our Check Out System and integrated  Shopping Cart utility.  If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact us via Email. We will cheerfully respond as soon as possible.

Lay Away Policy
We do accept Lay Aways with the following policies and terms.
There are no cancelations, returns or refunds.
A Lay Away is a promise to pay.
Lay Aways are a privilege.
Minimum Lay Away purchase is $200.00.
We only accept PayPal, Checks or Money Orders for Lay Away orders. Credit cards independently from Paypal will not be accepted for Lay Away purchases.
 
Please seriously consider this when placing an item on Lay Away. Lay Away is a service we provide to you and is a privilege.
If the order includes a hand crafted item, please understand that our artisan may have ordered the required materials and devoted time and talent to this item in preparation for the final payment and pending shipment.
We require one third down with the other two payments completed in two months. In other words, if you order an items that cost $300.00, we require you to pay $100.00 down, $100.00 30 days after that, and the final payment of $100.00 30 days after that.
There are no exceptions.
If you place an order and do not complete your agreement with us, we will retain any payment for holding the merchandise ordered from our inventory and for any artistan fees we have paid.
We provide this privilege to you as a service and privilege.
Lay Away according to our attorney is a promise to pay contract.
Please honor your promise to pay.
On occasion, at the discretion of our Board Of Directors, we may issue you a store credit.
However, this is not a typical occurence on any hand crafted item or any item that has been ordered or held in inventory that we could have sold to another client.
Please, seriously consider this policy before you place an item on  Lay Away.
We reserve the right to charge a service charge if payments are not made as agreed.
That service charge is equal to up to 10% of the total price for every month you do not make a payment.
 
Your order will not be shipped until final Lay Away payment has been made.
After confirmation of final payment, your item will ship the first available shipping date according to the original description and terms. If your item is a handcrafted original item, please allow the time stated in the description of the item  as if you were ordering it on the last payment date. Many of our artisans will not start on a hand crafted item until we advise them of your final payment even though they may have ordered the materials. Please allow extra time for hand crafted original items.

Our goal is to sell only those items we would place in our own homes or purchase as gifts for special people in our lives.  Consequently, we are  very particular when it comes to choosing our product line. We try to choose only quality items to sell  that will assist us in establishing a loyal and long lasting business relationship with you, our highly respected clients. 
 
We try our best to describe items accurately and to show you a good photographic  representation of our product line. We encourage you to ask questions about the item you are considering - please take the time to contact us through our secure Contact Form BEFORE you make this decision to buy.   With that said and our selection process further considered, we do NOT accept  returns or issue refunds or cancel an order. Most orders are placed with our artisans or vendors the day you place your order. Please seriously think about your purchase before you buy it and read every detail. We believe in full disclosure and do not want you to be disappointed. However, if you do not take time to read the description, terms and policies, we cannot be held responsible. We try hard to make sure these terms are posted in detail to protect you and to protect us.

This is entirely discretionary and is never done if the item you order is a hand crafted item.

Our Shipping Policy
All prices, unless otherwise noted, include shipping and insurance calculated to the Continental United States of  America, only please.
 
International buyers must contact us before making a purchase. We will need to check customs laws and insurance guidelines for your country and advise you. All International orders will not be considered ordered until we receive confirmation of payment for the additional shipping and insurance charges.
 
Typically, if an item is in stock, we ship once a week and via United States Post Office Priority Insured. The particular shipping day depends on our staff and the amount of orders for that week as well as if they meet pick up schedules. 
 
 If your order occurs after the date we shipped, we will ship on the next available shipping date. Should this happen, please allow two weeks for in stock items.
On occasion, especially with larger parcels, we may ship using another service.
 
About Ordering
 Hand Crafted Items
 
If you purchase a hand crafted item that is shipped directly to you from the artisan, their shipping method may be different than the one we use. Please allow extra time for hand crafted items taking into consideration that these are not created on an assembly line by machine. Many hours of talent and time go into each hand crafted item. We honor them as they bless us with the showcase of their incredible talent. Please return that honor and blessing to  these very talented crafters from all over the United States by taking in consideration that  they have family too and cannot work 24 hours a day.
 
Most of our artisans also do not create your item until it is ordered as they may not  have the budget to create items in advance and also need to allow for special orders  such as a request for specifics that may or may not be available.
Damaged Items
 
Every item we ship out from Victoria Rose Cottage, Inc. and its other "sister sites"  is insured!  If any item arrives damaged, you will be responsible  to file the necessary paper work regarding this claim with your local branch of the USPS.  We will do our best to assist you with any paper work necessary to validate the proof of Insurance and assist with your claim.

 
Security & Privacy Policy
 
We, Victoria Rose Cottage, Inc., a legitimate company, along with its associated websites - VictoriaRoseCottage.com, VictoriaRosePrints.com,  VictoriaRoseGraphics.com , and VictoriaRoseTags.com - known as such to be "sister sites" and who are conducting business as  retail websites under the corporate entity of Victoria Rose Cottage, Inc. governed by the state of Florida,  Division of Corporations, and any subsequent websites, that are designated  as associated sites  to be included under our corporate banner now or in the future,  offer the following Privacy Policy:

We will never disclose any personal information collected about you such as Email address, shipping information or any personal data whatsoever to anyone at any time, other than to those parties who should be involved directly with the associated sales transaction.

 Those parties may include only those authorized and deemed necessary such as those employees of our corporation who are vital to the processing of your order and whose duties may include following up on said order, and only with the direct authorization of our Board Of Directors. We also may share this personal information with any artist who has created an item and who we have made special arrangements for said artisan to ship directly to you, our customer, but only those selected artisans who we have deemed trustworthy and who have promised to guard your personal and private information and to use it only for  the purpose so intended.

We may provide such personal information to another party for final payment processing such as  PayPal© whose privacy policy is outlined at http://www.paypal.com , our approved payment processor, who uses military strength encryption procedures that are said to be the highest level of security in the industry today.
 
In the future, when available, we also may share this information with Visa© whose privacy policy is outlined  at http://www.visa.com , MasterCard© whose privacy policy is outlined  at http://www.mastercard.com , or any other credit card company that we may  so designate as an accepted payment processor in the future,  and only for the purpose so intended.

Email Addresses

Your Email address will be used to contact you should there be a need to do so  during the order process. Your Email address will also be used to provide you with shipping details and tracking information via the USPS© website, who also uses strong encryption methods to make certain your personal information is kept secure and private according to their specific privacy policy as stated on their website at http://www.usps.com . We also reserve the right to share this information with other shipping agents should we change our shipping company or service in the future or for specific transactions that would be considered best handled by another shipping service. The same said privacy policy will be followed. The designated shipper will only use your information for the purpose so intended and will be appointed after we have deemed that company to be reputable and respectful and adhering to similar privacy policies to protect you, our client.

We will not use that  address to send you any unsolicited emails or provide that private information to any third party not involved directly in the transaction or sale. If you do contact us and require an answer, we will cheerfully respond but will never give your Email  address out to third parties. Your security and privacy is of the  uppermost importance to us.

Please Note

As an added protection, please make sure that you see a security padlock when you  use the Shopping Cart Checkout and are transferred to PayPal's website. Also, the http at the top of the browser page should have an "s" added to  http when you are in a secured mode.

Our Limited Liability

Our responsibility is limited to what we, as a corporation and its associated employees, can physically do to keep your personal information  secure and private. This includes putting in place firewall protection and security and encryption measures to make certain your shopping experience is one  that is protected as much as  humanly possible. As human beings, we promise to  NOT share your private information with any such party not connected to the direct  and specific handling of a sale from any of our websites.  However, we will not be held responsible for the vulnerability  of compromise that website shopping may encounter through the ordering and transmission process when such ordering involves electronic transmission and is subject to vulnerability via the Internet ordering process.   As website retailers, we {Victoria Rose Cottage, Inc.}  cannot guarantee with 100% certainty that your information  will be absolutely secure due to technology and its vulnerability during such transaction and the transmission of such information as part of the payment completion process.
