All shades are one of a kind original designs by our very talented Victorian shade stylist, Kerri. If you are interested in Kerri creating a complementing shade of the same design, please inquire as to the availability. Since every shade is an original, one of a kind, she would have to try to closely match the original for you, depending on the raw materials and embellishments she has on hand. When we get in touch with Kerri to determine this possibility, we also will make inquiry as to how long it would take her to complete the order. Once we reach a mutual agreement and decide to move forward, we will set up a Special Order for you. All Special Orders require a non refundable deposit or payment in full depending on the item considered.

DESCRIPTION

This is a hand sewn Victorian bridge lamp shade.  It has a UNO washer fitting a bridge lamp.
 
This shade has 4 large panels, 4 smaller panels and 1 top panel.
 
The 4 large panels have a beautiful Catherine Klein pink rose image, which has been "sugared".
 This means the panel has been sprinkled with tiny GLASS beads that resemble the size of sugar.. .a process we call sugar beading.  
 This process allows a wonderful texture, sparkle and glow when lit.
 
The 4 smaller panels and the top panel have a natural white SILK burnout velvet for a
wonderful Victorian Shabby Romance effect.
 
This shade is lined in a light pink fabric for a pink glow when lit.
 
It is trimmed  INSIDE AND OUT with  light pink gimp for a more finished look.
 Around the top and middle is a light pink matching scallop trim.
 
The bottom is trimmed in a 6 inch (at the longest point) Aurora Borealis GLASS and
 acrylic beaded fringe. This trim as well as the sugar beading, when placed in the right light, appears to be "dancing in the light" with the sparkle and shimmer one only achieves through using the finest of elements. It is hard to describe the beauty of Kerri's shades. We can attest to the fact, after owning one ourselves, these shades are incredibly more beautiful "in person".
 
The shade maeasures 13" across the bottom and  ~10 inches high.
 
The textured fabric that resembles chenille is an off-white burnout silk velvet ......so soft and pretty. We feel that adding texture to any item gives it a more attractive presentation.

Recommendations wattage is a  40 watt soft bulb.
You can clean/dust with a baby brush or new 3" paint brush..
Just make sure the bulb is a good distance from the shade and not touching the shade....
