MASON GOLD TONED VINTAGE BEJEWELED CLOCK #25 WITH BIRD AMIDST ROSES
This vintage brass clock is made by Globe and offers an oval vertical case atop an etched tree- very rare in its presentation. It has traditional numerals and wire scrolled hands. The clock keeps excellent time with a working alarm but the alarm cannot be set as the knob is missing.. . perhaps you could find a replacement that would work in a local clock shop.
SPECIFICATION DEtAILS:
This breathtaking item is in fine vintage condition with any exceptions noted. The top of this clock offers a stunning floral shaped gold toned piece with pink rhinestone centers and other highly faceted shining pink rhinestones. Deb designed a beautiful stunning topper of pink marquis shaped stones that draws attention to the almost whimsical winged festoon presentation. Adding more elegance and whimsical touches is the way the clock presents itself on top of a gold toned filigree styled etched tree branch with gorgeous flowers with pink rhinestone centers and a beautiful gold toned bird perched there singing his praises while enjoying the intricate porcelain rose near by. The base is round and gold toned with a delicate raised design and is outlined with Debbie's signature Pink Swarovski chain. She also added further romantic touches by placing more delicate pink porcelain roses near the base.

ABOUT THE ARTIST'S PRICING
There are several things that must be considered when our artist or designer prices these items and presents them to us to showcase.
Of course there is the time consideration and how long an item actually takes her to complete. Debbie is a true designer and before she applies one jewel she needs inspiration to get a design concept. Unlike others who may just "slap a few jewels sparodically" she plans each piece and carefully selects the jewels to meet her goals as well as design items that are unique and elegant and awe-inspiring.
Also to be considered is the raw materials - whether she is using mostly vintage or antique elements or ones that are new made to look vintage. Then, of course are the colors as certain colors of rhinestones and other vintage stones are highly collectible and very hard to find. . such as the color pink - very much a sought after in the romantic Cottage Style or Paris Apartment Style or Elegant & Opulent Victorian home and hard to find. When she does find these pieces, she is very careful to select only the finest, preferring vintage or antique over the newer pieces {they sparkle so much more and add such character} thus also raising the price of her finished original one of a kind heirloom treasure. Recently, she has noticed the price of an antique brooch in hard to find pink being three times what the same jewel cost when she first started designing her art form.
The same with the color and elements of the actual piece she is using as the main element such as an antique frame, clock, perfume bottle, etc. She has been known to travel quite the distance just to find a particular item that she feels inspired to design and offer to you. Also she keeps a list of any items that sold that disappointed her faithful clients when they saw them SOLD and they were perhaps on their wish list. She will always try to find similar items on her buyng trips but it does get expensive when she begins her "treasure hunt" and finds out that market conditions have increased prices since she last purchased a similar item. For example, a rare green bottle would be priced much higher than a clear one and so on.
One thing for sure - this designer does not compromise by limiting the distance she has to travel, the price she has to pay or the quality of items she designs especially for you.
