All shades are one of a kind original designs by our very talented Victorian shade stylist, Kerri. If you are interested in Kerri creating a complementing shade of the same design, please inquire as to the availability. Since every shade is an original, one of a kind, she would have to try to closely match the original for you, depending on the raw materials and embellishments she has on hand. When we get in touch with Kerri to determine this possibility, we also will make inquiry as to how long it would take her to complete the order. Once we reach a mutual agreement and decide to move forward, we will set up a Special Order for you. All Special Orders require a non refundable deposit or payment in full depending on the item considered.

All designs, concepts,  photos and descriptive text are the sole property of the artist, Kerri and are being used with permission by Victoria Rose Cottage.  Any other replication is prohibited by intellectual copyright law and requires the express written permission of the artist, Kerri.

DESCRIPTION

 

This is a hand sewn Victorian lampshade.

This frame is custom made.

ROSES, ROSES, AND MORE ROSES!
The shade is done in "whisper" green and pink. It measures 16 inches at the bottom and 9 inches tall( not including fringe)

There are 6 large panels and 6 small panels.
There are 3 large panels that are sugared with a graphic originally painted by the very talented and highly popular rose artist,  Ronda Juniper Ray.
There are 3 large panels that have mint green 100% silk chiffon inverted rosettes with flowers on top to match the teacup graphic.
There is an organza handsewn rose which I have sewn on the lampshade as well as the satin leaves.
Around the rose are velvet and satin flowers all hand placed by me.
The smaller panels are done in pink lining with an ivory lace on top.
It is trimmed in seafoam green scalloped gimp and a rose embroidered trim on top.
The bottom is done in all GLASS pink beaded fringe.
The inside of the shade is trimmed as well for a more finished look.
This shade is for a large table lamp or floor lamp.
