 Look at the details of these  hand made, one of a kind, original designs.  Each shade in this collection  is created using the finest of hand dyed lace and hand applied details and embellishments and is lined with Duponi silk. Due to the nature of this hand crafted in the USA item, some elements may vary slightly from the ones showcased.
 You will not find shades like this in any retail outlet store.
The designer has had her shades featured on the front page of Romantic Homes & Romantic Country magazine. We feel blessed to showcase her incredible talent at Victoria Rose Cottage.
 
The  Elegant & Intricate Details
This breathtaking Marie Antoinette shade is a done in gorgeous hand dyed blush antique pink French  silk that covers the base. Then DeDe used  an overlay of French hand dyed lace as a topper. She then used a gorgeous rosy pink net lace for the sides and added intricate floral appliques giving this shade a romantic opulent look. The front of the shade is a vintage reprint of Marie Antoinette transferred to fabric.

 She then gave Marie her very own pearl necklace with a handmade glass beaded flower embellishment and added shimmery rose stones across her lovely dress. .. would over the top Marie have it any other way?  A sweet vintage metal swallow and Vintage pink ribbon with "Paris" and "France" details stamped on it and a hand dyed lace top add a hint of Paris, along with the metal fleur di lis embellishment at the base. She then finished it with hand selected vintage trims, vintage laces, sprays of pink pearls and handmade ribbon flowers. A 5 Inch Aurora borealis beaded fringe sets this apart as the most opulent of reading lamps. The reverse side is done in the same French silk blush color with the lace overlay. There are handmade ribbon roses that complete the shade giving a romantic and delicate charm.

Even the hooks have been wrapped in  beautiful ribbon - beauty-lishous for your over the bed reading lamp or could be placed on top of a mirror with a beautiful silk organza ribbon. A regular size wattage may be used - no bulb is included. It has a pull chain as an off/on switch similar to what you would find in a vintage bed lamp only this is new and UL listed.  

The details of this gorgeous shade measures about 14 inches from side to side. The lamp hangs from the top of the hand dyed lace to the edge of the "dance in the light" beading about 15 inches down.
