Victoria Rose Cottage has been blessed with the gift and artistry of Kerri. Kerri's gifts from God include creating the most beautiful true Victorian lampshades. . . all unique and original designs and all created with the finest of raw materials and embellishments such as glass beading and silks and chiffons and breathtaking millinery style roses.

Kerri loves to take vintage images and include them in her design concept. Many others have attempted to do so and the image is typically done on such thick textile that the shade may appear lovely but because of the thickness of the textile combined with the boldness of the image, the shine-through capability is compromised. Kerri uses a beautiful process called Sugar Beading where the image is coated with tiny sugar beads casting a romantic glow that shines through select textiles without compromising the beauty or functionality of these breathtaking, awe-inspiring Victorian shades.

Every lampshade in this category is hand crafted and hand sewn by Kerri.It takes many time consuming hours for Kerri to come up with an original design, then hand sew these breathtaking, original, one of a kind Victorian shades for you. We feel truly blessed to showcase her talent at our cottage.
